Mikekon
DJ, producer, party thrower, curator and label head, Mikekon has had his hands full with house and dance music from an early teenager.
Influenced early in his career by the underground music coming out of New York, Chicago and Detroit, Mike crafted his skills in Sydney/Eora’s local and interstate club scene at clubs such as Civic Underground, Club 77, Oxford Art Factory, Ivy, Music Room and The Toff. As well as overseas, Mike has landed numerous residencies during the European summers playing in Athens, Mykonos and islands around Greece.

Mike held radio residencies at FBI radio, Bondi FM and online station Universal Rhythms which helped grow his listener-base both locally and abroad. In 2019 he formed WIP Music. A record label – creating and signing original music and remixes, showcasing WIP artists and friends, locally and internationally.
His skillset has also led to curating runway shows and events for fashion houses Aje, Comme Moi, Christopher Esber and Shona Joy, as well as original production for leading Australian fashion and lifestyle brands such as Harbour outdoor marketing campaigns.
Within these successful collaborations arose a new business venture The Sound Bodega with Los Angeles based graphic House “George Gallo.” Offering graphic work, music production, playlist curation, Dj mixes and live Dj sets for their clients.
